S.P.E.A.R. SYSTEM™ A HIT IN CALIFORNIA
Carlsbad PD once again hosted a SPEAR System instructor development course for 31 trainers from across the state. The group, which also included members of the I.C.E. and D.E.A. federal law enforcement agencies, learned the scientifically researched skills and drills that will enhance the survivability of their students.

CAMP PENDLETON MARINES AND THE S.P.E.A.R. SYSTEM™
Approximately 20 USMC trainers stationed in Camp Pendleton participated in a special 2-day Operators class. The Marines were exposed to the SPEAR System’s tactics for CQB, No-room / No-Time to shoot, combatives. They also participated in Ballistic Micro-Fights (BMF’s) that allowed them to use their newly learned skills at real time, real speed and with real contact.

S.P.E.A.R. System Gun-Fighting / Ground-Fighting Combination Course ~ OCT 13-17
This class will cover how the SPEAR System’s physiological research applies to the extreme close quarter gunfight as well as what to do to prevent the fight from going to the ground and what to do there if it does.

   

Personal Defense Readiness Basic and Advanced Coach Certification ~ OCT 23-26
For self defense and martial arts instructors that wish to enhance their students’ mental and physical preparedness for the street. This course will show the SPEAR System’s fundamentals as they apply to common civilian scenarios.

S.P.E.A.R. System Instructor Development Course ~ OCT 27-31
This course will cover all the scientific research into the startle flinch response and how its conversion during the ambush moment is critical to survival. It will provide trainers with all the tools and knowledge to pass on to their agency the drills and skills that will help their students survive the sudden street assault.
